Terra Translations Earns Great Place To Work™ Certification

At Terra Translations, our values compel us to cultivate a company culture that we can take pride in. We’ve made it a priority to ensure that all our team members feel seen and supported. Going the extra mile to check in with each employee has been our focus, especially over these past few challenging years. In return, our employees have spoken! For the second year, Terra earns a Great Place to Work (GPTW) recognition.

What is GPTW?

GPTW is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors. These attributes guarantee market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation. The certification aims to make the world a better place by recognizing companies with healthy and engaging workplaces.

In order to be certified by GPTW, organizations are given a comprehensive employee survey. Over the course of a two-week period, the company will also complete a Cultural Proposal that summarizes the work environment and culture. Upon completing these reports, a third-party committee reviews submissions and identifies whether the organization meets GPTW’s certification criteria.

GPTW Year Two

Last year Terra earned an impressive 93 out of 100 regarding employees’ opinions on Terra being a great place to work. This year we did even better, scoring 98 out of 100. Not only is this score higher, but Terra also had a higher overall average for survey statements, rising from 92 to 94. After Terra shares the results with teams, we do something unique. We organize special meetings with every team member and HR to review the results and discuss any additional needs they may have. This is to ensure our employees have a safe space to comfortably voice their opinions they find difficult to share within a larger group. Terra implements feedback from our team members at every level of the organization.

Earning this designation for a consecutive year signifies Terra’s growth and commitment to employee well-being. The GPTW team supported Terra throughout the 2021 year to better connect our employees’ passions with their work. Their guidance has been critical to our continued success and our overall survey score improvement.

Our Commitment Continues

Terra will continue building an empowering workplace with ongoing initiatives such as our well-being program and career enrichment. For instance, we ensure that our team has the necessary equipment and accessories that make their jobs more comfortable. We hold stretching sessions and share articles that promote mindfulness. Additionally, we identify skill gaps and offer training programs that allow employees to grow their skills and knowledge. Lastly, as a remote company, we work diligently to curate social spaces and strengthen interpersonal relationships. This includes launching an employee recognition program where staff nominates their colleagues. We also have a dedicated studio where employees can gather to work or meet in person as they like. To ensure a positive and effective impact on our employees, we adapt our initiatives to their needs. They can choose to participate or not with an open invitation to share how we can improve.

People First

With a people-first approach to company culture, Terra believes in authentic and genuine care for our staff.

“We firmly believe that people are the most important thing in our company. And that is not just a mere catchphrase: It’s a reality,” explained Natalia Quintás, Chief People Officer at Terra. “We consider people in every decision we make.”

Unfortunately, not all companies promote a work culture where everyone feels like they belong. The threat of disconnection and division looms as our future grows more remote. For management, the transition and engaging a remote workforce can be daunting. At Terra, we emphasize inclusivity and diversity and let every person know that we’re in this together. We are not a company driven by competition but by collaboration, we complement each other.

As we continue our journey of learning, we consider GPTW a vital tool in this evolution. The feedback from this survey and our post-survey check-ins will only help us improve and become a stronger organization for our team and future team members as our company grows. We set our sights on next year’s certification, as it will be an achievement we will continue to strive for.

How the Translation Industry is Helping Ukraine

In light of recent events, we want to take some time to share how the translation industry is coming together to help the Ukrainian people and those affected by the situation.

Let’s take a look at the initiatives and organizations that could use support and the incredible work translators and interpreters are doing to keep the information and news flowing—including how our team at Terra Translations is currently helping.

How Translators and Interpreters are Getting Involved

Translators are offering a helping hand to the Ukrainian people in a variety of different ways. Translation industry experts are translating news broadcasts, providing medical translation assistance for those wounded and receiving care in foreign hospitals, and offering translation support for legal issues like immigration. With so many refugees fleeing to other countries, there’s a great need for translators around the world who can help make the process of receiving aid easier.

Countless professionals in the translation space are teaming up to figure out how they can best be of service to those in need. For example, a handful of Polish translation organizations have compiled a database of Polish translators and interpreters for refugees that are in Poland and require language assistance. The Translation Vendor Management LinkedIn Group is collecting contact information for translators from Ukraine who have been impacted by the war in Ukraine and are looking for freelance work.

Another critical initiative comes from Kate Tsurkan, a translator who lives in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She called on social media to have more Ukrainian writers published in English to expand their reach and elevate their voices. To accomplish this, the help of translators is required.

Organizations to Support

Many different organizations are stepping in to provide support to the Ukrainian people. Here are a few examples of organizations in the translation space who are devoting resources to assist Ukraine, some of which are currently looking for additional translators to support them in their efforts.

Other initiatives not directly related to translation that need support in the form of donations and volunteers include:

How Our Team is Providing Aid

At our core, Terra exists to connect the global community. We believe everyone deserves opportunities and access to information in order to live authentic, fulfilled lives. For our partners, colleagues, and friends in Ukraine, their opportunities and their democracy are being threatened at an incomprehensible level. To our Ukrainian partners and all of those seeking peace, we stand with you.

We encourage our global colleagues and partners to support Doctors without Borders, the Ukrainian Red Cross or Razom to directly aid the people of Ukraine. Terra is making donations to these organizations in an effort to reinforce words with action.

Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and we will continue to extend our support throughout this trying time.

A Commitment to Women Beyond International Women’s Day

The translation field, like many others, has historically been dominated by male participants. In the past, female translators weren’t always awarded the same opportunities as male translators or taken as seriously, despite the fact that they didn’t lack the talent or skills required to get the job done right.

Even in time periods and locations where women weren’t encouraged (and often actively discouraged) to pursue formal education and careers, many women pushed forward and forged paths of their own in the translation space to become professional translators and interpreters.

We’re happy to report that today, the translation industry is now heavily dominated by female linguists. At Terra Translations, we are proud to be a part of the reason that many women are thriving in our industry.

Terra has always been a company that values women. Since it first began, the CEO position was first held by Beatriz Cirera and later by her daughter, Marina Ilari. To date, Terra has 154 total team members, 112 of which are women. Currently, out of 17 leadership roles, 13 are held by women and many of Terra’s staff are involved with associations whose mission is to empower women.

In honor of International Women’s Day, we want to highlight some of our efforts to support women in the translation industry.

How Terra Supports Women

Terra Translations is a certified women-owned business and we believe it’s our responsibility to lift other women in our industry up. As a part of this mission, Terra supports Chicas in Tecnología by providing pro bono translation services. Chicas in Tecnología is a non-profit organization in Argentina that works to reduce the gender gap in technology in that region by motivating and training the next generation of women leaders in technology.

Women in Localization is another nonprofit organization we love to support with a mission of fostering a global community for the advancement of women and the localization industry. Women in Localization accomplishes this mission by providing networking, education, career advancement, and mentoring opportunities to women in the localization industry.

Another organization we like to support is Women in Games which aims to build a fair, equal and safe environment that empowers girls and women to join and thrive in the global gaming ecosystem.

Our CEO Marina Ilari is particularly passionate about supporting these types of organizations, including Enterprising Women Magazine, which is a national and global magazine for female entrepreneurs. As of 2020, Marina joined their Advisory Board. This Advisory Board is made up of professionals giving back to the women business owners’ community and as a board member Marina helps provide leadership and inspiration to female entrepreneurs worldwide.

At Terra, we don’t wait until International Women’s Day to celebrate women in our industry and beyond, we choose to celebrate them every day and hope you will join us!

NEWS: Terra Translations Launches New Branding

While we’ve been working on an exciting project for over a year now, there is no time like the new year to reveal what we’ve been up to! Everyone at Terra couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the new year with a brand refresh that we think our staff and clients will love!

Join us, as we share why we underwent this change, what the process looked like, and what it means for our clients.

Reasons for the change

Marina Ilari, CEO of Terra Translations, wanted to refresh our brand to ensure it shows the world who we are. “I’m so excited about the brand refresh because I think it truly represents who we are as a company with a dynamic, young, and innovative team,” Marina explained, “I think this shows more authenticity because it shows who we are as a team and I hope people that interact with us will see that as well.”

Colleen Beres, Director of Business Strategy at Terra, noted that a branding change is a key part of Terra’s evolution, “Terra Translations has been growing rapidly over the last few years,” Colleen said, “We are not the same company we were 10 years ago or even three years ago. So it was time for us to align who we are internally to what the world sees.” Colleen also expressed that this brand refresh is an opportunity for us to share our excitement and show the world that we are an innovative, fun, and collaborative place to be.

Building the new brand

Tracy from Savage Solutions, the strategic marketing agency that oversaw our rebrand, was there from start to finish to make sure our voice, brand architecture, and messaging better aligned with our updated brand. This rebrand was an extremely collaborative process between the Terra and Savage Solutions teams. “For me, as an art director, being part of meetings with Terra and then getting all the feedback from interviews, was essential because we take all of that into account to make sure that your messaging, your voice, and your tone really aligns with the visuals,” Tracy shared.

Tracy’s goal was to highlight our unique company culture, “You’re a large company, but you’re such a close knit like family vibe, and I wanted to make sure that that came out in the refresh,” Tracy said.

Matt from Savage Solutions explained that the process to build a brand refresh starts off with a lot of discovery calls and research, “That’s where we get the true personality, the true feelings, the values, what the team believes in… that really flows into the messaging, into the voice, and into the core values, and mission statement, which ultimately, once we know what we sound like, what we believe in, the images, and the visuals just match that,” Matt explained, “So that whole process of discovery to final logo, final brand is really collaborative.”

While we’re thrilled with the rebrand as a whole, Marina is particularly happy with the logo that Savage Solutions developed, “The A and R are together almost like they’re holding hands and to me that speaks to partnerships,” Marina said, “It speaks to friendship, and that we’re in this together. And I really think that represents who we are at Terra when we’re working with you. We are holding hands together.”

Mariana Horrisberger, Business Development Manager at Terra, is particularly impressed with our new color palette and the custom doodles that Savage Solutions created for us. “I’m most excited about our new colors and our new doodles,” Mariana said, “I think that they’re going to let us be more creative and more expressive with our client-facing documents and even with the internal documents. I feel it’s just more authentic to who we are and I think it’s going to let us express ourselves more.”

Mariana continued, “Our current clients can still expect the same level of quality and commitment to our work and to the level of dedication that we currently employ in every single project, but I also feel like our potential clients will see who we truly are and they will be able to see how we’re not just your everyday translation company, we are more human. We have our personalities and we let them show and we want our clients and our potential clients to see that too.”

Our partner

We collaborated with Savage Solutions on this rebrand, who we met through an organization we’re both members ofScale Up Milwaukee. Savage Solutions is a creative firm located in the Third Ward, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, mainly focusing on branding, establishing, or reestablishing brands. They spend most of their time repositioning brands out in the wild, whether online or in retail.

When it comes to the Terra rebrand, Cory, Founder of Savage Solutions, explained that, “There was a modernization that had to happen from your visual aspect that you were already living and doing and breathing.” Cory’s goal was to push Terra forward, “The maturity of professionalism that the brand represented was one of the things that we wanted to make sure that we portrayed, but still having a little aspect of fun that goes along with it.” Upon connecting with Terra, Cory was surprised to see how much fun our team has as a virtual organization even though we all work remotely.

“Because as an organization that is so virtually based, you guys still seem to find a way to have fun.” “We landed on a page where you guys are doing videos that just blew us away on the humor. It’s something that people might not think is humaneness and the personality that your brand had wasn’t being portrayed in the way that it was represented visually. So we wanted to bring out a little bit of that personality and a little bit of fun.”

What does it mean for our clients?

During our rebrand we refreshed our brand positioning statement to make it clear just how important the client experience is to us.

“I think Terra and our clients are going to benefit from the brand refresh, because it truly feels authentic to us,” Mariana said, “I want our clients to look at the new website and go, this is totally you guys…So I’m really excited about getting feedback from our clients and a lot of teammates as well.”

A Look Back at 2021 With Terra Translations

As we bring another year to a close (as hard as that is to believe!), I want to give a big shoutout to our remarkable team. Their hard work and commitment to our company culture is what makes Terra Translations so special. To celebrate everything they’ve accomplished this year, let’s look back at their accomplishments, how we’re celebrating a year of wins, and what we’re looking forward to when we ring in the new year!

Our Team’s Achievements

I have to admit, our team knows how to hustle and they’ve been recognized throughout the industry for their work ethic and skills. Here’s a look at a few awards and recognitions that came our way in 2021.

Everyone at Terra is committed to providing the best possible services to our clients and we’re proud to share that we earned recognition in the Go Global Awards as a Top Placer for Professional Services. We also maintained our spot as a boutique language service provider in the Slator ranking.

We’re happy to report that Terra is growing in size. The Terra team now consists of 102 members and we’ve been able to keep growing while maintaining our essence. Our growth was recognized by CSA Research, as Terra was ranked the 2nd Largest Language Services Provider in Latin America in 2021 after ranking 4th in 2020.

At Terra, we are deeply committed to creating a positive work environment. Which is why we were so honored to receive the Great Place to Work Certification in Argentina and two impressive rankings. We ranked 5th as a Company that Cares and 8th as a Great Place to Work for Millenials in Argentina.

How We’re Wrapping Up 2021

Whoo! After all that hard work, our team will be taking some time to rest, relax, and celebrate the holidays with our loved ones. On November 26th we came together to celebrate at our annual end-of-year event. Before 2020, we hosted this annual event in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but for the last two years have done so remotely because of the pandemic. This year, Terra team members joined a Zoom party with a detective theme where we played games and toasted to many more years together.

In 2021, we will continue to support organizations whose mission we believe in through our Terra Cares program. Some of the organizations we had the pleasure to collaborate with our Chicas en TecnologíaMédicos sin FronterasAsociación de Arte, Cultura y EducaciónAsociación de Desarrolladores de Videojuegos Argentinos, and Indie Game Business, among others. All projects combined amounted to 213,781 translated words. We look forward to continuing this work next year and beyond.

Like 2020, this year presented many challenges. We’ve learned that facing them together helps us grow stronger as a team.

I want to extend a huge thank you to our team and our clients for taking this journey with us. We can’t wait to spend 2022 together!

P.S. If you missed it last year, we shared what our team accomplished in 2020!

Terra Earns Recognition for Professional Services at the 2021 Go Global Awards

On the 14th October 2021, the International Trade Council announced the winners of the 2021 Go Global Awards.

This year’s awards were presented by the Go Global Judging Panel consisting of 15 distinguished business and government leaders from across the globe.

Winning an Award – or receiving a placement or honorable mention – is no small feat. The 2021 Go Global Awards received a total of 6416 entries from organizations in over 178 countries. The breadth of award nominations was truly amazing.

The International Trade Council recognizes organizations who, in the face of a global pandemic, have displayed leadership, resilience, and innovation, while embracing change and supporting their employees and communities in a way never seen before.

Originally launched in 1989, The International Trade Council’s Go Global Awards celebrate organizations that drive the global economy through their innovations, technologies, and strategies.

The Go Global Awards follow a rigorous three-tiered selection process. Candidates begin the application process with a pre-screening and ranking phase. The top 20% of nominations across all categories are then cross-reviewed to ensure consistency. Finalists are then selected and move forward to the live judging event, where they present before independent members of the Go Global Awards Committee. The Awards Committee then cross-reviews the finalist presentations and the final decisions are announced at the Go Global Awards Day.

The Awards bring together hundreds of senior executives from some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers, exporters, technology firms, international service providers, venture capital firms, and financial institutions.

While the Go Global Awards offer the opportunity to be recognized and honored by their peers it also goes beyond winning trophies and citations. The program aims to build a community of senior executives from across the globe to support one another, share ideas, create partnerships, and build on their existing knowledge and connections. International Translation Day: Who We Celebrate

While cupcake day, puppy day, and best friend appreciation day may get more love on social media, here at Terra Translations our favorite day of the year is International Translation Day! Every year on September 30th we take a moment to remember why we do the work we do.

There are many rewards of working in the translation industry. We help break down barriers, increase communication worldwide, and improve the safety and quality of life for many. But most of all, we’re reminded on International Translation Day of why we are so grateful to work with so many amazing translators. Talent Acquisition Manager Antonieta Martínez Barrios wanted to share her gratitude for our outstanding team of translators and give a deeper look at the work they do every day.

Who is Antonieta?

Antonieta is a talent acquisition manager at Terra. She is in charge of recruiting and contacting new translators and editors to join our freelance and in-house teams. Her background in translation has been a huge asset to Terra. She devotes half of her time to talent recruitment and the rest of her time to translating literary pieces. “I actually love both sides of my working life,” Antonieta said. “Being a talent acquisition manager gives me the opportunity to meet interesting people from different backgrounds. Being a translator allows me to devote time to literature, which is one of my greatest passions,” she continued.

What does a Translator Do?

According to Antonieta, a day in the life of a translator involves plenty of reading, typing, and collaborating with colleagues to work through tricky translation problems. Diligence is key. Alongside running issues by trusted coworkers, Antonieta said she frequently checks both online and physical paper references to ensure her work is of the highest quality. And of course, a little caffeine never hurts, “When I devote a day to translating, it usually starts pretty early and there are at least two cups of coffee involved,” she said.

Why We’re Grateful

The translation team at Terra works unbelievably hard and we are so lucky to have such a top-notch team. Our translators consistently meet quick deadlines, produce quality work, and handle unexpected technical emergencies. “A crashing CAT tool can also become a nightmare on any given day,” Antonieta warned.

In a time where technology threatens to replace professional translators, we are so appreciative of the value our team brings to the table. Antonieta perfectly nailed the sentiment of the exceptional worth our translators have, “Human translation will always be necessary because of the simple reason that all text audiences are human. There is nothing like the human rationale and touch,” Antonieta said. She also noted that skilled translators are more important than ever before, “I feel that at this moment in time, there is so much information spreading every day. Younger generations are so eager to reach this information. Translation becomes essential to keep up with world news, apps, and technologies that need to reach a global audience,” she said.

Many experts who specialize in difficult subject matter make up our translation team. Antonieta specializes in literary and legal translation. Our CEO Marina is an expert in creative translation and video game localization. Silvina, one of our in-house linguists, is skilled in medical and healthcare topics. Our teammate Nahuel has many years of experience translating technical texts. “There are so many specializations and mixes of language combos that each translator and editor’s profile is unique for us,” Antonieta said.

Happy International Translation Day!

Translators and editors are everything to Terra. They are part of our family and we deeply value them. Without our translators, Terra wouldn’t exist. We are extremely proud of the top-quality work they do. We want to wish all our linguists a fantastic day where they can relax or celebrate by translating and editing something they feel passionate about!

Terra is Now Certified as a Great Place to Work in Argentina

Day after day, everyone at Terra works together to make our company an amazing place to work. Which is why we are so thrilled to announce we’ve been certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW). Terra Translations is the first translation company in Argentina to earn this certification and is now ranked between the best places to work in Argentina among organizations of the same size. We are so proud of all of the work our team has done to earn this certification.

What is Great Place to Work?

GPTW is an organization whose goal is to build a better world by helping other organizations become a great place to work. In order to get certified by GPTW, you begin by surveying your employees. Over the course of a two-week period, you’ll complete their Culture Brief™ and participate in their Trust Index, which is a research-backed employee experience survey. Once you’ve completed both the Trust Index and the Culture Brief, you have to prove your organization meets GPTW’s criteria for getting certified.

How Terra Translations Got Certified

We couldn’t be prouder to be the first Argentinian translation company to become certified. Natalia Quintás, our Director of Human Resources, was the one who worked towards getting Terra certified. She had previously worked with GPTW in multinational companies and had experienced the great impact that the model has to improve daily work life and the team relationships. She adapted some of what she learned internally at Terra back in 2018, by measuring our team member’s satisfaction with an internal survey. Taking the insights gained from that survey, we implemented successful action plans. In 2020 she realized that it was time to begin to work with GPTW as partners in this process.

“I want to thank each member of our team for participating so honestly in this initiative and for being committed to building a Great Place to Work together,” Natalia said, “This experience can only be created by a team that really wants to work in a healthy environment.”

A Look at the Numbers

One benefit of becoming GPTW certified is gaining insight into how other organizations performed during the survey. As a female-founded company, we’re so proud that 99% of our team members think that Terra is a workplace where people are treated fairly regardless of their gender. Organizations like ours (up to 250 staff members) had 78% of employees reporting they are offered training or development to further themselves professionally, while at Terra this thought is shared by 92% of the people. 97% of our team members also reported that when they look at what our team accomplishes, they feel a sense of pride.

Teamwork is a key part of why Terra is such a great place to work, which is why we are so proud that 100% feel that when it’s time to close a deal with a client, it becomes a priority for everyone. This truly speaks to our commitment to delivering the best service and giving our best on every single occasion.

Here’s a look at some of our other top rankings!

A Commitment to the Terra Family

We are happy to report that this is not the first time Terra’s employee-centric culture has been recognized. In September of 2020, Terra received the Focus on the Future Award because of our commitment to culture.

Terra has a great culture with remarkable values such as, proactivity, innovation, diversity, team spirit authenticity and trust and this certification gives us the opportunity to recognize it internally and externally and go deeper in our commitment to create a great place to work to each person that gets in touch with Terra and its team,” Natalia said.

At Terra, people really matter. Our top priority is always the person and the experience that we have in our daily work. Terra is dynamic, flexible and understanding with each situation we have to go through and we are continuously adapting to accompany our team in their personal and professional journeys.

2020: A Year of Challenges, Achievements, and Gratitude

By Marina Ilari

While I am so grateful for our kind, supportive, and hard working team every day of the year, as 2020 ends I can’t help but reflect on how special they made an undeniably difficult year. Without them, Terra could not have achieved everything we did this year, from supporting charities we’re passionate about to delivering unparalleled results for our amazing clients.

Our Team’s Achievements

My gratitude for our team extends well past what they achieve, but I am also so proud of all the achievements born out of their hard work and commitment to excellence. While our team accomplished great things every day, these are a few of our standout moments.

We were also awarded the Focus on the future Award, which meant so much to our entire team. Terra received this award for maintaining an employee-centric focus by managing the health and well-being of our workforce. This award was so meaningful to us because it confirmed we were doing our best to create a healthy and happy working environment, especially when the pandemic hit.

Growth Amongst Challenges

In December 2019 our team was made up of 55 members. I am so thrilled to report that during 2020, 34 members joined our team, which amounted to a 62% growth rate. Most of our new additions took on Project Management roles, but some are linguists who work in quality assurance and editor roles.

Like all businesses, we faced a unique set of challenges due to the onset of COVID-19. We are so proud of how our team weathered so many sudden changes. At the beginning of the pandemic, many people were struggling with lockdown and working remotely for the first time. Having always worked remotely, we wanted to send positive vibes and help in any way we could. We created a video with positive messages to show support from our team members.

Even though we’re accustomed to working remotely, we know firsthand how many challenges there were to overcome. Our team members were not used to having “more people at home”. Between children not going to school and partners suddenly working from home as well, things could get loud and crowded during the work day. We are extremely thankful and proud of everyone for rising to these challenges and supporting their teammates when they needed it most.

How We Gave Back

At Terra, giving back to our community is a core value that we all share. Philanthropy is something that is widely supported by our team. In 2016, we launched an initiative called Terra Cares which provides pro-bono translation services to select healthcare and legal-focused non-profit organizations within our communities. In 2018, we expanded our efforts by partnering with Doctors Without Borders, a global non-profit that provides medical services to areas in crisis around the world. Our Terra Cares program aims to eliminate economic barriers and leverage social connections to improve people’s lives.

We participate in a variety of philanthropic opportunities that support our local communities and our industry as a whole.

In 2020 we presented at multiple online conferences on a wide spectrum of topics, including:

Our video game localization division, Terra Localizations,  also participated in industry events and virtual opportunities like:

We created useful resources that we hope provide insight into the challenges that working remotely can cause, such as:

Our Annual Team Building Event

For the past few years, we’ve come together at the end of the year in Buenos Aires for team building activities and a special dinner. This is really important to us because it’s the one time a year we all get to spend time together face to face.

In 2019 while we were in Buenos Aires for the annual event, a small group of Terra Translations teammates worked on the shooting of a dozen videos for social media which included the stellar performance of a dog, who we named “Fuzzy” (a tongue in cheek reference to fuzzy matches in CAT tools).

We had a fantastic time shooting them and have really enjoyed sharing them with the rest of our team (and the world) so that everyone could see what we were up to. The videos have premiered monthly in 2020 and these are a few of our favorites!

Of course, this year doing this annual event was not possible, but we didn’t let distance stop us from bonding as a team. Thankfully, the wonders of technology meant that we could still get together for a fun-filled couple of hours to celebrate what has been an undoubtedly challenging year for us all. We had a safe and socially distant Zoom party and spent a couple of hours playing games and having some fun together.

As a virtual team, meeting in person once a year has been amazing for our team-building and culture. So this year we put a lot of thought into what we could do virtually that would actually be super fun and not just feel like another Zoom meeting.

What’s to Come?

As a team, I know we’re all looking forward to starting a new year and a new chapter. Our video game localization division in particular will be taking advantage of the new year’s fresh start. During 2020, this division underwent aesthetics changes, which included a new logo, and illustrations designed by the extremely talented Hector Adrián Rodera.

We are excited to embrace some new changes next year and can’t wait for you to see what we have up our sleeves. Hint — we all deserve a little refresh from time to time.

In 2021 and beyond, we hope to continue to grow our team, our services, and our philanthropic work. Each year we become stronger together. Cheers!
